On Saturday we spent the day at the Renaissance Festival. We used to attend every year, but we hadn't been in quite some time. In fact, we'd only been once since Jocelyn was born and she was just a toddler then. The weather was perfect, in the mid-70's with a slight breeze. It was perfect Spring weather in the Phoenix area. The girls dressed the part (well Hannah didn't last long in her dress) and I braided their hair. We really wanted them to feel immersed in the experience. We cheered the black and gold knight, and jeered the one in red and black. The girls met a fairy and were quite taken with her. We ate a lot, drank a lot, and were merry indeed! We laughed at the Dead Bob show, listened to the Musical Carillion, and Hannah rode a camel! We had a fantastic time! Huzzah!
